As you may remember OHS secured funding to provide free health checks to 200 brigades in 09/10. As part of a trial of this program we have been conducting a number of sessions at brigades which has meet with positives results to be point where word is spreading and brigades are directly contacting us to run a program.
To ensure there is coordination, Areas are aware and there is a fair distribution of the program within in regions I am seeking your feedback on the following
We can offer each region approximately 10 brigade sessions per region @ 20 members per session. If you wish to take this offer up we would appreciate the response and local coordination to selection brigades asap so we can plan the overall rollout as this is being conducted with Deakin Uni.
The alternative is we focus on those regions who are already active in this area following the trials to provide the 200 brigades. We are seeking funding to provide more sessions.
