Since Geoff sent out the email below, a few minor amendments have been made to CFA/DSE SOPs 2.03 (IMT Preparedness Arrangements) and 3.08 (Appointment of the Incident Controller) which were sent to you last week. I have attached the amended versions.
Please update your CFA/DSE Joint SOP binders with these versions.
These have been updated on the CFA Intranet and Fireweb and will appear on the IMT Tool Box which will be released in the next couple of weeks.

Please find attached two CFA DSE Joint SOPs.
J2.03 relating to the arrangements for Incident Management Teams replaces the current version signed in September 2007. The 2007 version is now withdrawn.
J3.08 is a new Joint SOP dealing with the process to appoint an Incident Controller.
These two issues have been the topic of extensive discussion over the past six months and have been developed in the context of the revised State Emergency Response Plan and the State Arrangements for Command and Control of Bushfires in Victoria.
We seek your ongoing feedback on the application of both these procedures over the next few months. They will appear on the CFA Intranet and Fire Web in the next day or so.
There are two other Joints SOPs that are currently under review, J4.01 in relation to the Information Unit and J3.05 relating to IFACCs.
We hope to have these resolved in the next two weeks.
