To give us the chance to discuss key CFA issues and topics with you, from next week we will be implementing fortnightly live discussion sessions, hosted by myself and Chief Officer Euan Ferguson on an alternating basis.
These discussion sessions will be an opportunity for you to have your questions answered in real time, and have been scheduled to complement the Chief Officer’s talkback sessions with Kathy Bedford on ABC radio.
Each session will focus on a different topic – starting with the Chief Officer hosting a discussion about roadside burns next Wednesday 21 March at 6pm.
We’d also like to hear your suggestions for future topics.
You can submit questions before the session by emailing onlineforum@cfa.vic.gov.au, or just login and ask them during the chat. If you happen to miss the session, you can access a recording at a later time on CFA Connect.
We’ll run these sessions as a pilot for the next six months and then determine their future based on attendance figures and the number of comments and questions received.
I look forward to seeing and hearing from as many of you as possible over the coming months.
