This mornings Flag Lowering Ceremony was a touching event. I thought it was important to be a part of and my thoughts are truly with yourself, your Brigade and its community.
Along with Commemoration Service in Strathewen, I felt personally, that it was fantastic to see how the healing process is taking shape. Sometimes a get together like that today can leave a simple - BUT - strong message - As the reverend commented on the great mans test to us as a human race " We can be bitter or get better ".
Once again I felt a great sense of community spirit and it was healthy to be a part of.
