Emergency Services Foundation Scholarship Scheme

Emergency Services Foundation (ESF) has advised us that scholarships are available for CFA Volunteers through the Emergency Services Foundation Scholarship Program which is funded by the Victorian Government.


The purpose of the ESF Scholarship Scheme is to enable fellowships and grants to be made to members of the Victorian Emergency Services to assist them in undertaking advanced studies in Australia or overseas. This might be by participating in formal courses of education or training or by attachment for study or observation with other agencies or educational or training institutions to advance their educational and professional standards. A Scholarship Committee has been established and at this point in excess of 100 scholarships have been awarded.

Nomination and selection process

Nominees will need to complete the attached application form, which should be received at District 14 Headquarters no later than COB on Wednesday 14 March.

Nominations are due to ESF by Friday 16 March, late nominations can not be accepted.

Selection and Endorsement of nominees will be completed by Lex de Man AFSM Executive Director Operational Training & Volunteerism.
