Well, if you don’t and you like a semi challenge it might be the time to start donating blood (or registering to Club Red if you already donate, see more below).
The Red cross is running an NATIONAL EMERGENCY SERVICES CHALLENGE from July through to 31 August 2012.
This is the first year that the blood challenge has been run nationally so we get to compete against all the other States.
The other agencies are in the competition are:

• SES
• Ambulance Vic
What you need to do:
- Not a donor yet?
- Find out where your local donor centre is by logging onto www.donateblood.com.au, type your postcode and the closest centre will come up, also the mobile centres
- Go and donate and indirectly possibly save someone’s life. Ensure that you sign up to Club Red at the interview process to CFA-Victoria!
- If you are already a donor
- You need to sign up to Club Red, (you need to sign up, so your donation gets counted in this challenge)
- www.donateblood.com.au/clubred
- ‘Join’ the group which is “CFA-Victoria”
- Complete you details (your donor ID number is require to do this online)
- The winning service group for each State
- The winning service group for Australia
- The winning State overall
